About the cover: Cover is based on a diagram showing a uvulopalatal flap, a modification of uvulopharyngoplasty. Instead of removing the uvula and soft palate, the uvula is retracted and tucked superiorly under the soft palate. The pharyngeal pillars are sutured back and tonsils removed in this procedure as well. For more information, see article by Won and colleagues, beginning on page 193.
